Emily
Stylist & Colorist
Emily started hair styling in Pennsylvania. She joined Sweet T Salon in 2021. Emily’s specialty is women’s haircut and color. Customizing natural foiliage looks for medium texture hair for women and tweens is her favorite! Have a special event? Emily designs updos for proms and wedding guests. When she is not styling hair, she likes to spend time with her black lab Lucky!
Carly
Stylist & Colorist, Keratin Specialist
Modern and edgy, Carly began her career at Vernon Malone College and Career Academy. As a graduate of Wake Tech’s cosmetology program, she specializes in women’s hair and keratin services. Her friendly service and eye for fashion help the modern woman achieve her best look. She values family and is a sweet local Raleigh gal.

Melinda
Master Stylist & Colorist
Young, sweet and chic, Melinda constantly changes her style to reflect the freshest fashions. With over 10 years of experience doing hair, she continually goes to hair shows and classes to keep learning the newest trends. Melinda uses her cutting-edge fashion sense to design masterpieces that don’t just keep up with new trends– they set them. Besides her love for doing hair she loves animals, Disney and enjoys being a homebody when she is not at the salon; snuggled up with a book and her cats or watching Netflix.

Suzi
Master Stylist & Master Colorist, Highlights/Color, Perm, Bridal Hair/Makeup Specialist, and GK Keratin Certified
From California, Nevada, Arizona, to Raleigh, Suzi brings years of experience in cutting, coloring, and special occasion hair. Her extensive gray coverage and blending skills help women transition to beautiful custom colors. Suzi has decades of experience with all types of men’s and women’s hair. Her favorite hair color line is Scruples High Definition. She has a son, daughter & two grandchildren.

Nancy
Master Stylist & Colorist, Fine/Short Hair Specialist & Pageant Coach
As a Southern gal raised on grits, Nancy is proud of her Raleigh roots. This Enloe Eagle and NC State Wolfpack loves helping others feel their best with the latest cuts and colors. She learned the art of hair care at the International Institute of Hair Design while completing her degree in Spanish. After finishing her MBA in Chicago, she rebranded Classy Cuts created Sweet T to celebrate a Southern upbringing and Raleigh today. She has coached successful pageant gals and has judged in the Miss America and Miss USA systems. Her goal is to create a “home sweet home” for everyone to feel loved and welcomed. When not at the salon, she enjoys playing with her two little girls, podcasting, & serving Kindergarteners at Crossroads Fellowship.

Amy
Master Stylist, Scruples Elite Colorist, Perm and Color Specialist
Nancy’s mom, Amy – a devoted ballroom dancer and expert stylist – was the original owner. She has lived in Raleigh for 30+ years and practiced cosmetology in the area for 20+. Amy loves designing perms and doing color/highlights. Her welcoming personality and accomplished style has earned her a loyal base of customers, many have been coming to her their entire lives. She has two children and three grandchildren.

Rosa
Master Stylist & Colorist, Long Hair Specialist
A former beauty school instructor, Rosa is a master of her craft and prides herself on creating designs that perfectly match her clients’ individual styles. With school-aged children, Rosa is intrinsically connected with the Raleigh community she serves so avidly. She has three boys and a bird named Perry. (English and Spanish)

Melissa
Sweet Administrative Assistant|Certified Wedding Planner
Southern girl with Cajun roots, born and raised in Raleigh NC. Some of her best friends today she has grown up with right here in Raleigh and even met her husband at one of their weddings! Melissa went to Appalachian State University but moved back shortly after and loves still living in her hometown. This country music loving girlie girl currently lives back in North Raleigh about 15 minutes from the home she grew up in and had a little poodle named Sweet Pea. Melissa is a proud new mom of a beautiful baby boy, the Godmommy of an adorable Godson, a certified wedding planner as well as Thirty One consultant. She is involved in her community both through her church and her Saturdays working at the AE Finley YMCA. Melissa has a crafty mind, loves crafting of any sort and has recently really gotten into sewing, particularly sweet baby items. Sweet T Salon did her hair and makeup for her wedding before she even started working here.
Bea
Sweet Strategist & Business Developer
In NYC, Beatriz graduated from Adelphi University with a Business Management Degree concentrating on Finance. Her career years in NY encompassed being a NASDAQ Securities Trader for a Boutique Brokerage Firm. Later, she worked at TD Waterhouse and E*Trade as an Account Executive. When she became a Mom, she decided to take a break from her career to raise her children, but as a career woman at heart, she still involved herself on several endeavours that helped her raise her children and still be involved in creating strategies that help small businesses. Bea volunteers her at a local non-profit as business development director. At The Sweet T Salon, she brings her knowledge of the customer service world and her attention to the necessities of small business Development and Strategy.
Derek
Client Relations Manager
Derek graduated from the University of Mt. Olive Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and Organizational Development and Wilson Technical Community College with an Associate in Fire Protection Technology. He loves the Sweet T clients and teammates and ensures that the quality of service is superior. He has two daughters and a tuxedo cat named Lucy.
Sang
IT and Administration Manager
While working in the IT field, learning, communicating, and applying will always be a continuous cycle. During those years, Sang worked with both B2C and B2B models to find out what their problems are and provide technical solutions. He tries to understand the person while understanding their problem in order to apply knowledge in the most effective way. He believes there’s always room to learn. Sang and his wife have two dogs named Bella and Stella and a baby boy named Sullivan.
