This is the best hair salon in North Raleigh! Everyone is very knowledgeable and, most importantly, honest about what’s best for your hair. They take the time to recommend the right treatments instead of just trying to sell you something. I always feel like I can trust their advice and know my hair is in good hands. Highly recommend!

Amy is the queen of perms! I absolutely love the way mine came out! I was nervous about it since it was the first time getting one (and my hair was super straight) but she not only put my mind at ease, she really took her time and listened to my input. It's been 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to get a perm, definitely book with her! I'll be re-booking once mine grows out.

Amy did an incredible job with a perm today. She listened very carefully to what we wanted, and took such great care to make sure the perm came out with the right amount of curl (but not too much). She had great tips for how to care for it and suggestions on what cut would look good while also listening carefully to what our goal was! Appreciated her so much!

Nancy did an amazing job on not just my hair but the overall experience! I hadn’t been to a hair salon in a while and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable here! I have very long hair, and Nancy took her time detangling the knots instead of forcing a brush through it and breaking my hair. She checked that I was okay with the amount she was taking off and made sure I liked how it turned out at the end. I think I finally found my home hair salon, will definitely be returning!

I get my haircut by Amy every time and she does a great job. All the employees are very nice and I have never had a bad experience going here

I had my first appointment with Amy and she gave me an amazing cut which is very important for my very thin hair. The atmosphere at the salon is very welcoming and I have found my salon! So worth the half hour drive to get there. Thank you, Amy! My hair looks great because of you!

Nancy is a star! My mother died this week and she cleared her calendar to get me in for a haircut before the funeral. This is the kindness she has always shown to me since I have been going to the salon. The whole staff is talented and fun.

I found this salon here on google maps and saw they had good reviews so I decided to give them a try and it did not disappoint! Amy cut my hair and as a guy with long ish hair it’s not easy to find someone who specializes in cutting it since most barber shops cut it shorter and many salons are not as familiar with male hair but Amy did a great job giving me exactly the haircut I wanted and cutting my hair in stages rather than chopping it all off I will 100% being going back and strongly recommend this salon!

Sweet T Salon is fantastic. So glad I found this place. Honestly best haircut I’ve had in years. As a guy with long hair it’s not easy out here. Amy was phenomenal and knew exactly what to do! This is now my go to place. 10 stars

I went to get a balayage and two stylists worked on me. Melinda and the other stylist were fantastic! So patient and they helped walk me through the whole process. It took 10 hours but my dark hair has never gotten to be this light before and looks better than I could have imagined it! So thankful for the wonderful ladies here. Go get your hair done by them, it’s worth it!

I visited this salon for the very first time yesterday and they did not disappoint! I am so pleased with the service and results that I received. My hair has not looked this good in many years. I have always had thin hair but in recent years it has gotten much thinner to the point of being able to see my scalp. Suzi was excellent and extremely helpful. She gave me a cut that I absolutely love and helped me with options to help keep my hair healthy and looking fuller. Everyone in the salon was very warm and welcoming. The salon itself appeared well organized and very neat & tidy.

I went to Sweet T Salon for hairstyling because my coworker at my job made fun of me for having a bowl cut. So after a year I finally decide to go for a hair salon for some styling. I like my hair way more than before. Thank you Amy for cutting my hair, I really appreciated it and I loves it

Initially, I entered the salon questioning whether or not the haircut I wanted would actually work well for my hair. Rosa took one look at my reference photo and said she could do it. I have never loved my hair so much! Not only did she make me feel incredibly special (continuous compliments) but she also replicated the reference picture I had picked to a ‘T’. Must be where the ‘T’ in ‘Sweet T Salon’ comes from, lol!

Had a 17 year old boys perm with Amy and it was amazing, would recommend her for any perm or haircut!

Amy gave me a perm about 6 weeks ago, and I am still 100% happy with it. She truly cared about my long-term results and took the time to do a great job and to provide helpful care instructions.

I went into Sweet T for the first time to freshen my hair up for my upcoming wedding. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Amy is. Amy was great! This was my first time at a salon having long hair finally. She knew exactly how to shape my hair. Showed her a picture and she copied it exactly and gave really good hair maintenance tips. Not rushed, very attentive, and super good with styling. Will definitely be coming back!

I have wavy/curly hair. I came to Sweet T Salon, a couple days before a trip needing my ends cleaned up and some weight removed. Melinda cut my hair. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable in the new (to me) environment. I left with damp diffused hair because I had to get on with my day. From what I could tell the cut was done well. Later that day when my hair had fully dried I was pleasantly surprised just how good my hair looked. I’m on day two and it’s everything I wanted. Thanks Melinda!

Fist time and absolute have fallen in love with the atmosphere and people at Sweet T Salon. Rosa, whom I'm proud to call my stylist did an excellent job at delivering exactly what I requested and educating me on how to care for my new style.

Best managed salon I have ever been in. Spotless always. Stylist does a great job everytime. Staff are always friendly & welcoming. I am so glad I found this place & will sure follow them when they move.

Amy is excellent. She's not only sweet, patient, and very good at cutting hair, but very welcoming. I was a walk in and they took me back with no problem. I went to 3 salons before walking in and all I can say is I will be back even if it means traveling 2 hours to see her. Staff is all sweet and the place is clean and inviting. I moved from AZ. Went to a salon and they butchered my hair. Scheduled with Carly at sweet T salon. My hair looks amazing! She completely fixed it and I didn't have to lose extra inches.

I had been here a couple of times and the employees are very kind and helpful and the salon is very decorative! They give me great tips after getting highlights and their shampoo is SPOT ON 100% recommend buying a bottle for yourself. The after result of your hair is priceless. If you are looking forward to get your hair done soon come here!

I brought my son in for a haircut yesterday and Amy did a wonderful job! He has some difficult cowlicks but she helped make them manageable. Amy was great at explaining what she was doing throughout the entire cut. He and I were both very happy! We will definitely be going back.

I worked with Amy for my haircut. She is a prompt and dedicated stylist and was an absolute pleasure to have working on my hair. She is pretty much guaranteed to know (with keen precision) the exact haircut needed to make you look like a million bucks. Her styling skills are absolutely astonishing. I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is the best in Raleigh. They go above and beyond to make you feel beautiful and well-cared for. They take the time to learn what you want and like so that every time you come in, you are confident in their skill. I am so confident in their skill, that I pretty much go in there and tell them to do what they think is best! Get your brows done in there while you are at it. They take care of women, kids, teens, and men!! You won't regret your choice when you come to Sweet T Salon!

This isna nicely run local place where the owner is actually involved in the shop. People of North Hills this is just 2 min away and more reasonable than the salons in North Hills Mall area. They did my daughters Birthday hair coloring and she Loved it and was very made-to-order.
